Rouge Roubaix 2010!!!

Whats up everyone here's an update on Rouge we had a pretty good race as a team, Christain got 4th Russ "Bigg Daddy" got 11th i got 15th and Kolt got 20th. The race got split up on the 1st dirt section and some caught on and some didn't then going into the second dirt section it split again this time alot of people were walking cause it was very sandy and when you have 15 to 20 people stopping in front of you, you have to do the same thing then a group of about 10 to 15 riders which i was in we had to get back to the main pack which had about 20 to 25 people we made it but it took a good effort. Then in the last dirt section i was about 20 back and i look up and see Christain giving it everything to break the pack and i was just sitting in and we had to go up a hill in the dirt and alot of people were walking unfortunately i had to walk too but i back on it and rode with a group of about 15 to 20 to the finish and me and Kolt just sat in cause we had Christain and Russ up the road then in the last 1k there was some attacks and i just followed wheels and got 3d in the pack sprint not too bad i was cramping a lil but still had a lil kick left!

Well the season is over and I haven't even been updating my blog "sorry", here is how my season ended. Me, Austin, Terry(Big T), And Kyle the new kid on the block, we all went to Nationals in Bend, Organ. That was a long drive 32hrs wow.We raced Cascade and Nationals there Cascade went ok it was hard for me to breath cause the lowest point was 3400ft in the air. And Nationals went ok for me my boy Andrew D did very good though with 10th on the RR 16th in the crit and 23d in the TT "ur my boy Drew"...B..) Then my last race of the year was the FloRida State RR for U23 and Pro 1 2 it went really good I got 3d in the U23 RR missed the break and finished in a chase group of 5. Then the pro 1 2 race I was in the winning break it was me this guy Phill for Jelly Belly and a Santos rider going into the last lap the Jelly Belly rider attacked and i tryed to go with him but I cramped and I couldn't go with him and I couldn't close the gap and got caught by the pack on the last lap it sucked but I felt like I was riding good it was just a very hot day that day and I was in acouple breaks for some laps. But now I am just training and working at American Classic in Tampa but I will be back in Dallas next year to race for Metro Volkswagen Cycling Team.. New year new results....

Sorry I haven't updated my blog but here's a little something. Well we went to Speedweek to do some crit races it was pretty hard and I finished a couple of races but no great results. Then we headed to Joe Martin Stage Race were I did not to good at all in the 1st Stage which was a TT, 4k uphill and I got time cut on that so I didn't get to race so I just rode two six hour days and rode a three hour day on sunday but Peter and Christen did very good with a 1st and 2nd on the GC and Peter won stage 2 and the GC so it was a good race for the team. But now I'am getting ready to head down to Florida with Nathan to see my family and friends and to race some crits so look for more updates on that when I get back!

Tampa!!!

Well I went home to Tampa for 2 weeks just after Rouge Roubaix. We did very good at that race both the girls and the mens team got 1st and 2nd. I got home and it was pretty much the same, nice weather and the beach. I did a couple of races when I was down there I did alright but not what I wanted to do. One race I made the break and we had ten people in it and with 2 laps to go the pack was on us and Bobby Sweeting attacked and Ivan Franco made it to him then Joel Chavez went and I got on his wheel but I couldn't hold it and the pack caught me and it sucks cause those three guys held it off to the end I just finished. I had a good time being home but I am back in the GV (Grapevine, TX).

This is me and Andrew D's first time to college and Benji was with us but he took the picture it was not bad but we didn't find what we were looking for in that class.

Here is me going up a hill in Austin the hills are pretty hard there No Beuno.

And last the Capital of Texas we rode thru it a bunch of times just to go thru the college.

Cat 1 Training Camp

Well we came back from AZ, the Valley of the Sun race and we started the men's cat 1 training camp. The first day we did six hours total, we did the first five hours at a double pace line at a good tempo then we went to the Wednesday night group ride and we pretty much did a team time trail at the front and we didn't do to good of a job what Nathan said then we had Shannon drive behind us and we rode back to the house so that was a six hour day. Today we rode three and a half hours, we rode to the ranch and did high speed pace line which was very hard but I think we did a better job, we did that about three times then we headed back to the house and called it a day. I'm not a cat 1 but I've been training with the ones cause those are the riders on the team you have train with if you want to be a better rider and win races!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Training Hard!

I've been training alot my first race is February 7th and 8th in San Antonio TX. There will be five of us going to it and it is going to be fun. I have never raced rode on this side of the country before and I'm looking forward to it. I have been feeling very good on the bike so i feel that I'm ready. Me and the team need to do good so we can get or cat 1 upgrade and show what we can do as a team. Its going to be an Omnium race so there is a time trail, road race, and a crit and its called the Alsatian country omnium. Keep in touch for race updates!

Its 2009 and training camp is over it was alot of fun and very hard but all the hard training should pay off when racing starts. We went to the Mts in Oklahoma it was my 2nd time ever in the Mts and I think i did pretty good and everyone else did very good too but it was very cold and it never warmed up the high was like 45 and it sucked. But we all had alot of fun hanging out by the fire at night telling stories.

I made it to Dallas!

Yesterday I flew into Dallas the weather was nice it was almost just like FL but a little bit chilly. Today I'am just having Christmas with my Grandma and waiting to meet the team and start training camp. But so far I'am having a good time in Dallas.

I'll be flying out on 12/24/08 to move to Grapevine TX to race for Metro Volkswagen. Also I will pretty much be starting over cause I don't know anyone out there or the area that I will be living in. But that will be the best part cause I will be able to meet new people and race for an awesome team.

Well today I woke up at 6am got on the rode at 6:45am and rode for six hours a good day on the bike, yesterday I got on the rode at 6am me and my friend Joel were riding to the group ride. We were riding down this one street and it was pretty dark I couldn't see too much and the next thing I knew I went over the bars, I hit this peace of metal that was black and it was about the size of a brick it hurt at first but then Joel's brother drove by and we went back to my house to get a different wheel and we made it back to the ride just in time.That morning wasn't too good but I got over it.
